This site is for submitting the license application and fee only. To register for online or in-person private recertification classes, please visit OSU Extension at pested.osu.edu, or contact your county Extension office. Commercial recertification classes can be found here.
Pesticide applicators and businesses can submit their applications and payments using our online system. If this is your first time renewing online, you will first need to register an account, using your License ID and Control number. If you have already registered during the current licensing year, you can log in with your username and password, and proceed with your renewal application and payment. If you have registered in previous years, you will need to register a new account again.
Private Applicators: Licenses expiring on 3/31/2021 may now be renewed online. Also, licenses which expired on 3/31/2020 may still be renewed but only if the recertification requirement has already been completed.
You will continue to receive your paper renewal notification through the mail. But, the electronic option is for your convenience. If you opt to use the electronic version, you will not have to mail the paper renewal. Additional documentation, such as copies of state driver's licenses or Certificates of Insurance cannot be submitted using this system.
Note: State Agencies may pay by ISTV or by agency pay card. If using an ISTV, a letter of request and the original signed application(s) will need to be sent to our office.
Companies who are renewing their Business or Registered Location license along with employees’ commercial licenses can use the “Pesticide & Fertilizer Companies” site to renew all licenses. It is not necessary to register with and renew licenses using both systems.
