Ohio’s Children’s Initiatives program

The Ohio Department of Agriculture, through its Children’s Initiatives program, is connecting kids back to where their food comes from and promoting Ohio agriculture.

• Promotes careers in agriculture.
• Supports schools and recognizes them for their child nutrition and farm to school efforts.
• Promotes healthy eating and encourages taste tests and cooking.
• Partners with other organizations to promote farm to school in Ohio.
