A draft Permit to Install (PTI) and a draft Permit to Operate (PTO) has been issued for Zeedyk Swine Farm

 In accordance with OAC rule 901:10-6-01, public notice is hereby given that the Ohio Department of Agriculture (ODA) 
 is accepting comments and will hold a public meeting on a draft Permit to Install (PTI) and a draft Permit to Operate (PTO) for the proposed facility called “Zeedyk Swine Farm” which would be at 10670 Scott Road, Bryan, Ohio 43506 in Defiance County, Farmer Township in the Tiffin Watershed. If the final permits are issued, the PTI would be valid for two years and the PTO would be valid for five years.

The open house and public meeting will be held on Thursday August 19, 2021 at the Farmer Fire Hall located at 9985 State Route 2, Farmer, Ohio 43526. The open house will begin at 6:30 p.m. The public meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m., to obtain additional information limited to the criteria applicable to the permits noticed herein.  A recording of the public meeting will be made to ensure accuracy.  Interested parties may appear and submit oral or written comments concerning the permit; or may submit written comments to: lepp@agri.ohio.gov  or the Ohio Department of Agriculture, Division of Livestock Environmental Permitting (DLEP), 8995 East Main Street, Reynoldsburg, Ohio 43068; (614)387-0470.  Comments must be received no later than 5:00 p.m. August 26, 2021. Comments received after August 26, 2021 will not be considered.
