The Hemp Program was created to allow licensed individuals to grow and process hemp for fiber, grain production, and dietary needs in Ohio (ORC 928 and OAC 901). The program is administered by the Ohio Department of Agriculture and is approved by the USDA.

Ohio Department of Agriculture Hemp Program to Begin Accepting Applications
The Ohio Department of Agriculture Hemp Program will begin accepting license applications from potential cultivators and processors for the 2020 growing season on March 3 at noon.
