Rocky River, Ohio (05/04/2021) – West Side Salsa Company in Rocky River, Ohio is voluntarily recalling its West Side Salsa due to the product being produced without the benefit of inspection from the Ohio Department of Agriculture.
Product was available for sale from the following locations in Ohio:
• Ross Wine and Liquor-27313 Wolf Road, Bay Village
• Constantino's Market-1278 W 9th St, Cleveland
• Ross Beverage-15524 Detroit Ave, Lakewood
Products involved in the recall were sold in 16 oz. plastic containers labeled:
• West Side Salsa Company – Original
• West Side Salsa Company - Medium
• West Side Salsa Company - Hot
The issue was discovered during a routine inspection conducted by the Ohio Department of Agriculture.
Individuals exhibiting signs or symptoms of a foodborne illness should contact a physician immediately.
