Milk & Dairy Beef Drug Residue Prevention
National Dairy Farm Program Logo

This manual is provided as an attempt to educate producers on animal drugs and tests available to them.  Producers must consult with a veterinarian before administering any drugs to animals!

If a producer has a load or sample that tests positive for antibiotics, they are required by law in the state of Ohio to review the Milk and Dairy Beef Residue Prevention manual with a licensed veterinarian.  Towards the end of the manual is a Certificate of Participation that needs to be completed by the producer and the licensed veterinarian.

The Download link to the right can be used to view and download the most recent edition of the manual.

Once the certificate is completed, it must be sent to the Dairy Division at 8995 E. Main Street, Reynoldsburg, OH 43068.
