The Ohio Department of Agriculture, together with the Office of Budget and Management, has developed a website for County and Independent Fairs to apply for Coronavirus Relief Funds.
Governor DeWine, Lt. Gov. Husted, House Speaker Householder, and Senate President Obhof worked together to provide economic support for the implementation of COVID-19 health orders and related safety requirements at County and Independent Fairs. The level of funding available is $50,000 for each county or independent fair that conducts a junior fair during the 2020 fair season. For counties that do not conduct a junior fair in 2020, $15,000 is available per county to be applied towards health and safety expenses in the 2021 fair season.
