Tracy D. Intihar

Tracy serves as Assistant Director for the Ohio Department of Agriculture where she oversees daily administrative operations of the department. She brings more than 20 years of experience in state government, having been intimately involved with some of the most significant and complex program and policy issues facing Ohio.

Prior to her current post, she was appointed Director of Governor Kasich’s Office of Workforce Transformation where she worked to better align and improve Ohio’s complex workforce development system. Before this appointment, Tracy served as Cabinet Secretary for the Kasich Administration, working with agency directors on priority reform initiatives and day-to-day operations.

Before her return to state government in 2011, Tracy ran her own government and public affairs consulting company for nearly six years. She also served as Director of Legislative Affairs for two Ohio House Speakers and was charged with developing and managing the policy agenda.

Tracy graduated with honors from the University of Cincinnati with a degree in Communications.
