Category 9 – Animal Pest Control Study Guide. Animal pest control means the application of pesticides to domestic animals which are held as agricultural commodities, or to structures in which they are confined, for the control of pests of such animals. Application of pesticides by licensed veterinarians during the course of their normal practice is specifically exempted by law.
