Dan Kenny serves as the Plant Health Division Chief for the Department of Agriculture. Dan has been with ODA since 2005 and was appointed chief in 2019.

Dan has represented ODA on several boards and committees including the National Plant Board, ODA Invasive Plant Advisory Committee, System Approach to Nursery Certification Governing Board,

USDA Interagency Relations Committee, NPB Uniform Regulations Working Group, Ohio Heritage Garden Committee, ODNR Urban Forestry Advisory Committee, and the Lake Erie Protection Fund Grant Review Committee. 

Dan holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agronomy from the Ohio State University along with completing extensive graduate course work at the University of Findlay in Environmental Science.
